(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
The HomePNA Alliance, a provider of technology for networking IPTV over
the existing coax and phone wires in the home, exhibited at the TelcoTV
2008 show, held in Anaheim, Calif., at the Anaheim Convention Center,
Nov. 11-13.

Prior to the event, recently elected HomePNA President William
Simmelink said, "I'm looking forward to attending TelcoTV, one of the
leading events for telcos looking to deploy triple-play services. We've
made tremendous inroads in North America and, with AT&T U-verse TV
close to the 1 million subscriber mark and many other leading telcos
installing HomePNA, interest continues to grow rapidly."

Simmelink, president of HomePNA promoter company CopperGate
Communications, has been a member of the HomePNA board of directors
since 2006. Before CopperGate, Simmelink was general manager of the
packet voice and video business at Texas Instruments and vice president
of business development at Telogy Networks, acquired by Texas
Instruments in 1999.

HomePNA is an incorporated, non-profit association of companies working
together to create, promote and certify multimedia home networking
technology that operates over existing wires. HomePNA technology
operates over coax cables and phone wires to deliver Internet Protocol
(IP) services like IPTV, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and data,
often bundled by service providers as triple-play services.
